Videalert is Gold Sponsor of the 2016 BPA conference which takes place on 28th September in Westminster. The event will ensure all eyes are firmly fixed on the future of mobility, technology and parking. It aims to inform and educate parking professionals and to influence the thinking of the wider parking community. Enabling a truly mobile society that will deliver benefits for all is the call to action. The future is here and it’s time to make that a reality.

The conference will provide a morning of engaging plenary presentations exploring how advances in technology are influencing the way we shop, spend leisure time and travel, while helping you understand how demand for parking is likely to change. Delegates will then be able to choose from a number of case-study based presentations, which will aim to put into context key areas where attention needs to be focused for the future.

After lunch, Ken Hughes, one of the world’s leading consumer and shopper behaviouralists, will be helping delegates to look at their approach to digital in a whole new way. His presentation, ‘The Digital Native Advance’, explores how most organisations put the focus of their digital strategy too heavily on the available technologies – tablets and smartphones, apps and social media. He will show that technology itself is not what we should be focusing on and is only an enabler for us to build better connections with customers and end-users.

The day will wrap up with the BPA Conference Blooming Great Drinks Party in aid of our corporate charity, Marie Curie. This will take place within the exhibition area, allowing delegates and exhibitors to network, discuss product and service developments, reflect on the day’s learning and link up with colleagues old and new whilst raising valuable funds to help those affected by terminal illness.
